There are many applications requiring the use of single phase motors, many of which need variable speed capability. Marshall Wolf Automation has variable speed AC drives/speed controls from Leeson Electric and Dart Controls to help in these instances.
Leeson offers both a 115 and 230 volt single phase chassis style AC variable speed drive control that will give you a maximum of 4 amps to the industrial electric motor. Dart has offerings of 10 and 15 amps in both 115 and 230 single phase input in both open chassis and enclosed models.
Leeson offers a process control module for applications where you need to follow an analog signal sent from another control device. Dart does not offer that type of control.
These controls are able to control any type of AC single phase motor, except a capacitive start motor.
For more information or technical support on these variable speed AC drives, please contact Scott Welch (scott@wolfautomation.com )at Marshall Wolf Automation, your authorized industrial supply distributor!
