Leuze sensors include the HRTR 25B light scanner which enables reliable detection of objects with glossy surfaces by means of its focused light spot. Leuze Electronic's new HRTR 46B-TEACH photo sensor is in fact two sensors integrated into one housing. This enables it to return two independent switching signals, making it possible to achieve complex tasks such as detecting two location points in for example a storage rack. Doing this with only one sensor instead of two saves cost, space and simplifies installation.
The sensor's scanning range is adjusted by an innovative 'site-sensitive' detection method using a custom semiconductor developed by Leuze electronic. This design means that there are no moving parts within the sensor to made the range adjustments.

With the
Leuze barcode positioning system (BPS), positions can be precisely determined along horizontal and vertical paths. Using a visible red light laser the BPS measuring unit reads the position relative to the barcode tape.

The
Eos-Array is an expandable combination of modules which provides complete control of a photovoltaic plant. The core unit is the VMU-M which performs local bus management of both measuring units, the VMU-Sand the VMU-P and the VMU-O I/O unit. The VMU-M assigns the local unit address automatically and gathers the local measurements coming from VMU-S and VMU-P measuring units. The VMU-M can provide, via the VMU-O modules, two relay outputs to manage alarms and/or external loads (such as a lighting system,a PV washing system, etc.) and two PV panel temperature inputs. The VMU-S is the DC power measuring unit (generated by PV panel), features a built-in fuse holder. The VMU-P collects relevant environmental data (through external sensors) such as wind speed, air temperature and sun irradiation. The Eos-ArraySoft is freeware software, which downloads the Eos-Array system memory to the PC, for improved PV plant efficiency and analysis.
