WEG has CSA-US Listing for Explosion Proof Motors!

WEG has announced that they now have CSA-US listing for explosion proof (Division 1) industrial electric motors.

This listing is recognized by US authorities as an NRTL Lab approval and equal to a UL Listing.

WEG also retains UL Explosion Proof Div 1 Listing, however the CSA-US expands their capability beyond the current limits of our UL file.

The listing covers frames from 143T - 586/7 2-8 pole, up to 500 hp.

The expanded capabilities of the CSA listing are:

VFD service of 20:1 constant torque
1000:1 variable torque
IP55 Class II environment
TEAO enclosure
Space heaters
Thermistors
Up to a 60°C ambient
