With the Leuze barcode positioning system (BPS), positions can be precisely determined along horizontal and vertical paths. Using a visible red light laser the BPS measuring unit reads the position relative to the barcode tape.
The code that is read in the scanning area of the laser beam is used to calculate the position from code information and code position with millimeter accuracy!
