Our Carlo Gavazzi BFD series light curtains were designed just for the industrial door market!

This is a new safety sensor solution for preventing a closing door from colliding with people or objects in the door operating area.

The BFD system, consisting of an emitter and receiver, generate an infrared light grid that detects objects without any contact.

An advantage of the Carlo Gavazzi BFD light curtain is that it can detect a raised forklift moving under a closing door... unlike standard door sensors located near the bottom of the door!
