Just this summer Carlo Gavazzi announced the release of a newly expanded PA18 series of photoelectric sensors.

The Carlo Gavazzi PA18 series upgrade included extended sensing ranges and advanced features.

Some of the housing features these photoelectric light sensors now offer include:

• 40% reduction in length over previous series
• New radial housing option which provides the means for right angle sensing
• IP67, IP69K and ECOLAB certification
• Can withstand high temperatures (80°C/176°F) and high pressure (1450 psi/100bar)

Sensing ranges are increased up to 150% from the previous generation. Sensing modes include diffuse (1m sensing range), retro-reflective (6.5m sensing range), polarized retro-reflective (5m sensing range), and through-beam (20m sensing range).
