Leuze sensors include the HRTR 25B light scanner which enables reliable detection of objects with glossy surfaces by means of its focused light spot. Exact edge detection and positioning are possible on glossy, perforated metallic surfaces as well as on rack bars and stands using this sensor. In the same series, the Leuze HRTR 25B XL scanner is ideal for positioning tasks using its large light spot. The larger light spot also makes this sensor ideally suited for the detection of containers which may not be completely closed. Reflection light scanners with background suppression incorporated in the Leuze HRTR 25B sensors facilitate a scanning range of up to 1 meter. With a large adjustment range starting at 50 mm, these sensors offer a high level of application flexibility, an advantage for many users as it is not necessary to stock a large number of sensor variants.
